Data controller

The controller of the personal data collected on this site is Glauc Fornés Gil (Barcelona, Spain). You can exercise any right or make any enquiry through the Site’s contact form.

What data we process and why

Contact form: name, email address and message. Purpose: answering your enquiry. The message is delivered to the owner by email and a copy is kept on the Site’s server for at most 180 days, only so the owner can reply and follow up; it is then deleted.

Newsletter (“Notes by email”): email address and preferred language. Purpose: sending you newly published notes. Legal basis: your consent when subscribing, which you can withdraw at any time by replying to any email or via the contact form.

No other personal data is processed: the calculation tools run in your browser and neither send nor store anything you enter.

Quiz classroom: no student data is collected. The nickname a student types is kept on their own phone and in the room, and the whole room is deleted twelve hours after creation. The teacher creates no account.

AI assistant (trial): the text of your question is sent to the Site’s server and from there to the inference service of Auriga Intelligence, in the European Union, to generate the answer. The conversation is not stored. To limit abuse, a derived identifier (hash) of your IP address and browser is kept for 24 hours; it does not allow you to be identified. Do not enter personal data in the question.

Legal basis and retention

The legal basis for all processing is the data subject’s consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR). Newsletter data is kept for as long as the subscription lasts; contact-form data for the time needed to handle the enquiry.

Recipients and transfers

Data is neither shared with third parties nor transferred outside the European Union, with a single exception: the text of questions to the AI assistant is processed by Auriga Intelligence as a data processor, on servers in the European Union, for the sole purpose of generating the answer. The Site is hosted on Hetzner Online GmbH servers located in the European Union (Finland), under the standard hosting data-processor relationship.

Cookieless analytics

The Site uses Umami, an open-source analytics system self-hosted by the owner on the same server. It uses no cookies, collects no personal data or identifiers, performs no cross-site tracking, and all metrics are aggregate and anonymous. That is why no consent banner is required.

Cookies and local storage

The Site uses no cookies. It only uses the browser’s local storage (localStorage) to remember your light/dark theme preference — a value that never leaves your device and is exempt from consent.

Your rights

You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability through the contact form. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or your local supervisory authority.
